Access to Water
 Mallee Water Authorities | Two rural water authorities service the Mallee region. The Sunraysia Rural Water Authority is a Government Business Enterprise operating in the Nyah to South Australian Border region of Victoria. It's primary responsibility is to provide access to irrigation water for agricultural crops along the Murray River. The Authority also has responsibility for delivering stock and garden water to the Millewa & the Carwarp/Yelta Districts as well as subsurface irrigation drainage services within the Pumped Districts, Nangiloc, Boundary Bend and Tol Tol. Grampians, Wimmera Mallee Water (external link) provides rural water services over an area of three million hectares, from the Grampians in the southern Wimmera to the Murray River in the north, and across to the South Australian border.
