Flinders (Fl)
On French Island and the Mornington Peninsula, there are minor occurrences of the Bittern map unit (Tertiary sediments) overlying the Flinders map unit (Tertiary basalt). A typical example of the soil in the Flinders map unit is pit site GP58.
