Ecological Vegetation Class (EVC) Descriptions

These descriptions of EVCs relate to the report: Ecological Vegetation Class Mapping at 1:25 000 in Gippsland. The report details a total of 63 Ecological Vegetation Classes (EVCs) and 44 Floristic Communities that were described and mapped in the East and West Gippsland Study Areas at a scale of 1:25 000 between 1995 and 2000. EVC mapping of private and public land in the West Gippsland Study Area was carried out by John Davies (Senior Flora and Fauna Officer) and Alison Oates (Flora and Fauna Officer), with assistance in localised areas by Tim Wills and Karen Lester.
