Charlton Association
The Charlton Association consists mainly of Calcic, Red Sodosols and Sodic, Hypercalcic, Red Chromosols with minor occurrences of Self-mulching, Red Vertosols. The main occurrence of this unit is in the north-eastern section of the survey, occupying areas of the gently undulating plains, moderately undulating plains, lower outwash slopes and the river flood plains.
