were a regular exhibit at the Royal Melbourne Show prior to the Second World
War.

A pyramid of woollen products
in the Government Pavilion in 1939. A "Triumph of Wool" fashion parade was
held in conjuction with this exhibit. "Men look smarter and feel better
when dressed in wool" show vistors were informed. The Army requisitioned
the show grounds just after the 1939 show and occupied the site until 1946.
